Erichs, Malmö:
Several renovation and extension projects have been carried out over 15+ years in collaboration with Brian Möinichen Wendin. The larger projects include adding extra upper floor space for new bedrooms in 2005, a new two-floor extension with a new kitchen, bath and additional bedrooms in 2012. The property was recently extended with a pool and pool house in 2020.
Mohlin, Malmö
An extension and a reorganised floor plan of the ground level have tremendously increased the liveability of the villa’s social space. The new living room lowered to level with the surrounding garden, has given a much-needed contact between inside and outside. With a generous window area, providing lots of daylight, together with the high ceilings, the renovation project has resulted in better indoor comfort with an enjoyable modern indoor living space.
Eklund, Åsgården
The old country estate, with living space in only the relatively small main house, needed a complete renovation to be transformed into a modern home. The project proposes converting the old barn and stables into liveable spaces with bedrooms, bathrooms, orangery, glass veranda, etc. Using the old agricultural buildings to extend the living space allows removing the relatively cramped-spaced upper floor of the main house, transforming it into a light and spacious living area.
Frederiksen, Ormslev Station Denmark
Modern living standards are essential to thrive in a home, even in a picturesque cultural heritage-protected old train station built at the end of the 19th century. Opening up the downstairs living space connecting it to the exceptional view of the lake in front of the building, changing windows and doors, improving the insulation level and changing the heating system from oil to a more modern and sustainable solution is part of the solution. The next step in modernising the property is an extension with a greenhouse and a new bedroom/bathroom building.
Haahr, Århus Denmark
The city centre townhouse was challenged in terms of daylight levels. With three stories and the house attached to neighbouring buildings, daylight was only allowed in from two sides - the relatively narrow street in front and the backyard. The solution was to install a generous skylight on the roof and glass floors below to allow natural light to flow all the way down from the roof to the ground floor.
Lindroos, Kävlinge
With a passion for cooking and hunting, the client wanted a freestanding building in the garden to prepare meat and cook over an open fire—an outside kitchen for barbecuing, smoking, pizza baking, and other cooking needs. When not in use, it can be closed entirely down; for social occasions, it can open up like a street food bar.
Beier, Malmö
A new wooden fence between the garden and the street. The fence’s shifting grade of openness maintains a relationship between the street and the private garden, offering a glimpse of plants and life inside. The design varies between closed and various levels of semi-closed to ensure privacy where needed and allow transparency where possible. Incorporated are also solutions for bicycle parking and waste bins.
Wendin, Malmö
A complete renovation of a semi-detached villa from 1969. The old garage has been built in with a glassed roof intermediate building adding 50 m2 to the residential area. New bathrooms, kitchen, utility room, windows and doors, floors, first-floor plan layout, an improved energy standard etc. Preserving the original exterior architecture was essential with its time-typical white brick and black wood panels. Interior/furnishing by Malmö Design Studio as well.
Norrlöw, Halmstad
Design of a new cottage/vacation home in Halmstad to be placed on a lush plot rich with trees and plants close to the water. The roof opens towards the sun and has facade openings in all directions ensuring a light and relaxing interior.
Wilscher, Malmö
Bespoke door in oak slats to screen off and create storage space underneath the stairs.
Bjerström, Hjärup
An infill outdoor glass-enclosed living space between the owners and the neighbouring house extends the property's living space and extends the outdoor season. High ceilings and opening possibilities ensure a comfortable indoor climate and temperature in the conservatory.

Living in light - vision:
Living in light is the creation of the best framework for the modern man when the existing building mass is transformed in an urban context. For the individual’s health, well-being and interaction with others, towards a balance between culture and nature.
Studio Posehuset

It was chosen to preserve the old building with its fine plastered walls and contrast by adding only one element, covered with one single material – black anodised aluminium plates – on the facades and roof.
Home For Life
With buildings accounting for 40% of carbon emissions in the Western world and 30% of buildings having deficient indoor climates, the project sought to create a carbon-neutral structure that would benefit from solar energy, both actively by producing electricity and solar heat and passively by benefitting from the heat of the sun.

The vision for Green Solution House is to be a demonstrator for circular sustainability with three goals 1) to demonstrate green solutions, 2) to promote continuous improvement, and 3) to enable knowledge sharing. The design of the building itself is based on several parameters to show a holistic approach to sustainability. The building has been certified to DGNB standards, documented as an Active House and accepted in the Cradle to Cradle registry.

Childhood lays the foundation for a promising future. Architecture that houses small children, and the people who care for them, should ensure this foundation is as supportive and healthy as possible. The childcare centre Solhuset in Hørsholm, Denmark, aims to do just that.
Designed to accommodate about 100 children and 30 staff, Solhuset (the Sun House) comprises a 1,300 m2 interior with plenty of outdoor space and seamless transitions between functions and between the outdoors and indoors.
Schools: Endrup School
Rebuilding two preschool classrooms at the Endrup School offered an opportunity to create healthy indoor environments for children and implement new, energy-efficient technologies. In so doing, the design team also hoped to create a better space for learning and teaching – and for connecting with nature.
Schools: Endrup Langebjerg School
The classrooms were dark, the air felt stuffy, and the old roof plates cracked. But when Langebjerg School embarked on a renovation with roof windows, the solution was both comfortable and contemporary.

Osram Culture House
Originally built as a warehouse for a light bulb manufacturer, Osram House is now an example of how daylight can transform a dark industrial building into a hub for cultural activities.
